The Tor from Pathfinder Homes uses a clever and modern combination of warm whites & pastel greens creating a relaxed & calming environment. As soon as you enter the home you are greeted by a huge storage space, perfect for storing your suitcases on a holiday break or even for a sideboard and ‘last check’ point before leaving the home. Making way to the living come dining room, and settling down on the cosy armchair or stretching out on the beautifully classic sofa. The interior of the communal living area is both welcoming and warm. These organic traits are complimented by the mid brown laminate flooring, ensuring a large feeling of space. The kitchen includes everything you need and nothing you don’t, with a dining table adjacent, the feeling of practicality without compromise is heroic.

As you follow the hallway, the master bedroom sits at the back, similarly decorated to the communal areas reinforcing the overwhelming sense of comfort & homeliness the rest of the home oozes. This master bedroom includes an ensuite & walk in wardrobe promoting space & comfort. The second bedroom features two single beds, a built in wardrobe and a full length window encouraging natural light to flood the room. Where the bedrooms back up the sense of comfort, the en-suite and main bathroom reinforce the clean and elegant side of the home.

Planning

We offer a free planning service, where we will evaluate you, individual case. You may need to apply for planning but due to coming under the caravan act and being a temporary structure, this is easy to attain. It is most likely a letter of consent from a local authority will suffice.

Company Coverage

We are pleased to offer a 10-year warranty with every home we build in collaboration with our partners over at Platinum Seal. However, you can rest assured our build quality should mean that you won’t be needing this.

Platinum Seal provides cover for all our homes which are built to BS3632 whether on a residential park, holiday/leisure park or even on your own land.

From May 2021, every home we build will be registered with the Platinum Seal Scheme which includes:

10 Years Insured Structural Warranty for all units manufactured to BS3632 (including liquidation cover)

Fully regulated insured structural warranty scheme

Available on both Leisure and Residential Park Homes and Lodges within the UK (including commercial fleet homes)

Platinum Seal understands the importance of transparency, especially when it comes to your new home and the cover provided. The warranty offered is for a wide range of structural defects that could, although rarely, occur. This giving you protection and peace of mind during the first 10 years after your park home has been delivered.

Cover starts from the date of dispatch of your park home from the manufacturer and lasts up to a maximum period of 10 years from the date of dispatch.

Year 1-2

Pathfinder Homes are responsible for any structural defects to your home for the first 2 years from the date of delivery of your lodge. However, in the first 12 months from the date of manufacture, we are also responsible for the internal defects. These are stated within our terms and conditions (read more here). Should we not be able to fulfil our obligations during this time, the Platinum Seal scheme will take on our responsibility for any structural defect. Only with their liquidation covers as part of your standard Platinum Seal cover.

Year 3-10

After the manufacturer warranty ends, a further 8 years of insurance up to a maximum of 10 years from the date of manufacture. The Platinum Seal Insurer will provide insurance protection if there are structural defects to your park home. This cover does not include faults to the base your park home is sited as this is the responsibility of your park owner/operator. It also excludes structural defects as a result of a lack of maintenance or wear and tear.

Installation

Our Homes and Lodges are built on chassis with the appropriate access will be wheeled into position onto a concrete base pad. Groundworks and services need to be arranged and completed before installation, Pathfinder Park Homes Ltd do not carry these out ourselves. Any home sited on any surface other than sufficient concrete will void all warranties.

Our Homes and lodges are transported whole or in two parts depending on their size, the finishing team will sort the internals and externals such as guttering, roofing, flooring and internal strips. All property will need to be certificated by external electricians, plumbers and gas safe engineers (where relevant).

Access Requirements

We recommend a site visit by a transportation company prior to the order being placed to ensure the home can be easily installed and sited.
