Timber Frame Units at Chartham
A 4 unit development for our client in Ashford, Kent made up of our standard 140 external/89 internal wall build up and an intricate roof detail.
You will receive a full design, manufacture and install service, coordinated at all points by a dedicated OFP TF manager. OFP will provide engineering calculations and as built drawings for Building Control submission, external, internal and loadbearing walls as well as formed roof structure. If it’s structural, it’s us!

Planning
You will receive line and point loadings first to assist with foundation design, followed by initial design. OFP TF will amend to suit any comments you may have and finalise our design by around week seven. OFP TF will issue a full engineering and design pack all backed up by £5Million Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Installation
Your OFP Contracts Manager will attend pre-start meeting to discuss all the above, provide a scaffold plan and double check your foundations prior to commencement on-site.
You will receive a detailed programme outlining all delivery days and OFP TF will always commit to a finish date, so you can arrange the follow-on trades and build to speed on-site.
On average, timber frame is erected three times quicker than a traditional build and we don’t stop for cold or wet weather either!
