Lowfield Timber Frame School Build

£POA

This respite building was created using a mixture of glulam, steel and timber frame. The build also included roof pods to the main building.

Our client, Wynne Construction was appointed to build a brand-new school for pupils with additional educational needs by Gwynedd Council. Costing £13 million, the new development located in Penrhyndeudraeth provides modern, well-equipped classrooms including a hydrotherapy pool, therapy rooms, and sensory equipment for children in the area.

There is a suitable outdoor area for play and learning with a garden and cafÉ where the older children can develop their skills. The project also included a six-bed residential section, allowing pupils to stay, giving their families much-needed respite.
